Having first started up in 1972 when a modern hair crimper iron was invented, hair crimping was especially popular during the 1980s. To do this, a hair crimper iron applies heat to the hair to give it that look. Of course, it's very important conditioner is used or else the hair crimper could do major damage to a person's hair.
